FOUR people were charged in court on Tuesday with helping a woman overstayer to leave Singapore unlawfully.

The overstayer, Chen Chunfeng alias Huang Mei Ying, 35, a Chinese national, was also charged with illegal entry on Aug 9.

Fish farmer Tan Liang Seng, 45, odd-job labourers Sivabalan Rengasamy, 31, and Chua Kim Hai, 54, as well as Wang Fang, 20, a Chinese national, are alleged to have schemed with Chen to smuggle her out of Singapore at sea off Lim Chu Kang.
