Police arrest alleged members of "leg-shaking" theft gang

Thai police Tuesday announced the arrest of two Philippine men, alleged members of "leg-shaking" theft gang that robbed a Thai business man of Bt100,000 (S$4,230) cash on Bangkok's Yoawarat Road on August 6.

Randy Capilipan Luste and Peter Paul Jr Dia Booroo Balladares, who were wanted by court-issued arrest warrants, were arrested along with Bt100,000 cash and several cellphone top-up cards on the night of August 31 while they were trying to steal again on Yaowarat Road, said Metropolitan Police Area 6 chief Major General Wittaya Rattanawit Tuesday. -The Nation/ANN
