JOHOR BARU: A monk from China pleaded guilty at a Magistrates Court here for causing a public disturbance at a restaurant when people refused to give him alms.

Zhang Bo, 50 from Anhui, China who was dressed in robes, appeared slightly confused when the facts of the case were read to him.

He was said to have caused the disturbance at the Ong Lai Restaurant in Taman Universiti, Skudai on Oct 3 at around 12.30pm.
