Supermart broken into

KUALA TERENGGANU: The Mydin supermarket in Jalan Kota here was broken into yesterday with thieves making away with a sum of money kept in a safety box.

The store manager made the discovery when he opened the premises for business at 7.40am and found the place had been ransacked.

State Crime Investigations Department deputy chief Superintendent K, Manoharan said the manager claimed that the thieves had climbed the wall and entered the premises through the ceiling. -New Straits Times
