JOHOR BARU: A 40-year-old mother of five pleaded guilty in a magistrate's court here for stealing three pairs of bra at a hypermarket here.

S. Lechimi committed the offence on Sept 12 two years ago at Carre-four hypermarket.

The stolen items were worth RM60.71 (S$24.90).

In mitigation, Lechimi's counsel Vijaya Gopal said her client had no previous conviction.

Magistrate Mohd Fuad Abd Ghani sentenced Lechimi to police probation, which requires her to report to the Tampoi police station twice a month for one year.
