MIRI, MALAYSIA - A fight over whether he could borrow his uncle's motorcycle resulted in the stabbing and death of a 14-year-old Form Two student.

The boy's uncle, a 24-year old labourer, has been arrested following the incident which occurred at about 1am yesterday at a house on the outskirts of the city.

"Initial investigations show that the boy and his uncle had a quarrel when he tried to take the keys of the motorcycle from his uncle," said Miri OCPD Asst Comm Jamaluddin Ibrahim.

"The quarrel turned violent and it is said that the uncle grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed the boy," he said, adding that the case had been classified as murder.
