Jan 8, 2004: Hasirawati Saridi 10, is found murdered and raped. She had gone missing on her way to school in Kampung Ratau, Menggatal in Sabah.

Jan 17, 2004: 10-year-old Nurul Huda Abdul Gani is murdered and left in the toilet of a security booth in Tanjung Kupang, Johor Baru. A security guard was charged and jailed over the incident.

Sept 16, 2007: Eight-year-old Nurin Jazlin Jazimin is found dead, naked and stuffed in a bag. She had been abducted from a pasar malam near her house on Aug 20.

Jan 9, 2008: Five-year-old Sharlinie Mohd Nashar goes missing in Petaling Jaya. Case believed to be linked to the Kampung Baru molester and the Nurin case. Earlier, two girls, aged five and six, were abducted and molested in Kampung Baru. Both had foreign objects shoved into their private parts but the victims were released by the assailant.

May 31, 2009: Form Three student Salanawati Sadarudin, 15, is found half-naked in bushes 2km from her house in Kampung Gum Gum Manis, Sandakan. She was believed to have been raped and strangled while on her way home from school.

Nov 9, 2009: Lee Yong Hwa, 14, an only child a family from Sikamat, Seremban, goes missing after her father drops her off at school.

Dec 22, 2009: The half-naked body of girl aged about 11 to 13 is found strangled with a piece of cloth around her neck in a water retention pond near Jalan Semarak, Kuala Lumpur.
