Police smash 2 criminal gangs at Expo park

Shanghai police rooted out two criminal gangs and arrested eight suspects at the Expo park, announced the Shanghai Public Security Bureau June 1.

A special police force in plain clothes, established in September 2009, was stationed at the park after the opening of the Expo 2010 Shanghai last month.

Shanghai police ask visitors to secure their personal belongings such as cameras, mobile phones and detachable lenses while watching performances.
