KUCHING, MALAYSIA: A four-year-old girl is believed to have been molested by her mother's 57-year-old male employer on Monday afternoon.
The incident took place when the girl visited her mother at the employer's home at Kenyalang Park where the mother works as a housemaid.
The employer allegedly poked his finger into the girl's private part. The victim only informed her mother of the incident when they got home. The mother promptly lodged a police report.
Police picked up the suspect in the evening.
In an unrelated case, a gaming outlet at King's Centre was broken into early yesterday morning.
Its two-day collection RM20,500 (S$8,765) was carted away by the burglar who also took away the CCTV unit.
Meanwhile, a man from Serian lodged a police report on July 28 that his daughter who worked at a petrol station at Hui Sing Garden had gone missing.
Monica Frederick, 20, was said to have gone back to her hometown two months ago and informed her family that she had a new boyfriend whom the family rejected.
She then left her hometown for Kuching. When her father came to visit her recently, she had quit her job.
