KUALA LUMPUR - An 18-year-old motorcycle snatch thief died two hours after he crashed into a parked van in Cheras yesterday.
The teen's accomplice, in his 20s, suffered a broken leg, said Cheras police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohan Singh.
He said the duo had allegedly snatched a handbag from a Singaporean woman at 1.25am.
A man gave chase before the youths crashed into a van parked by the roadside.
They were sent to hospital but the 18-year-old died at 3.30am. Mohan said police found the handbag on the youths and returned it to the woman.
