Woman khalwat suspect flees from court

>HULU TERENGGANU: A suspect in a khalwat case escaped from the Kuala Berang Syariah Court when enforcement officers were submitting court documents.

Police are now looking for the 42-year-old woman. Her escape has landed the syariah enforcement officer, who had escorted her, in hot water.

The suspect, who had claimed trial, had been told to sit outside the office while papers for her bail were being prepared.
