ALOR STAR, MALAYSIA: A shopkeeper's complaint to the Prime Minister's website (www.warkahuntukpm.com.my) of poor police response has paid off, with the Kedah CPO springing into action.

Teoh Kwai Chun, 52, complained in the website that her shop was burgled three times, on Feb 17 and 18 and March 3.

She decided to write to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, who is also the Internal Security Minister, via the website.

Her brother, Kian Chai, submitted the complaint to the website on her behalf.

"I was surprised to see the state police chief himself at my shop," she said.
