KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA: Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan has directed all state CPOs and OCPDs to not allow any political party to hold victory parades.

He said this was to avoid any untoward incident, such as the one this morning in Rusila, Terengganu where police had to fire teargas to disperse a crowd of 300 PAS supporters who turned unruly.

"We want to ensure that peace and security are maintained at all times.

"We will continue to monitor and place policemen there and throughout the country to ensure there are no untoward incidents," he said.
