A WEEK after she was found, a 12-year-old girl remained secretive as to why she ran away to Indonesia in December.

Che Siti Nor Azreen Che Ishak or Azreen, who was found by volunteer organisation Migrant CARE in Sukra, Lombok Timur, Indonesia, on April 4, is now being cared for by the Lombok Timur Social Welfare Department.

According to the department's counselling expert Ibu Yuni, the girl seemed to be secretive about what made her go to Indonesia.

"I have been tasked to counsel her for two days to find out the real story from her, but she has yet to reveal anything," she said.

"We are making efforts to revive her spirit while waiting for her father to arrive here from Malaysia next week," she told Kosmo!
