SEPANG, MALAYSIA: The charred bodies of two unidentified people were found in the boot of a burning car at an oil palm plantation here last night.

District Criminal Investigation Department chief Assistant Superintendent Zaihairul Idrus said a passer-by spotted the burning car about 100m from Km3.6 of the highway heading towards the Kuala Lumpur International Airport cargo complex at 8pm.

Zaihairul said checks revealed the vehicle had been reported stolen from Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, last month.

Zaihairul appealed to those with information to contact the district police headquarters at 03-8706-2222.
