Ezam: Sodomy claims an Anwar tactic

SHAH ALAM, MALAYSIA - The sodomy allegations made against PKR adviser Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is a tactical move by him to politicise the matter and make it into an international issue.

'It is also unfair of him to accuse Umno leaders of political conspiracy. Anwar, who is asking others to be fair to him, must first be fair to others,' said former PKR stalwart Ezam Mohd Nor.

Ezam criticised Pakatan Rakyat's politics, saying that it went against the foundations laid by the nation's founding fathers.

'The foundations for multi-racialism was initiated by our founding fathers whereby Malaysians can vote for candidates of any race during the general election,' he said.

He added that Umno and Barisan Nasional leaders must counter the impending threat from Pakatan Rakyat.
