BUTTERWORTH: It is impossible for PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to have seen the second medical report on his former aide Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan who claimed he was sodomised by the PKR adviser.

Health Minister Datuk Liow Tiong Lai said the report was sent straight to the police from Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL).

"Even I, the Health Minister, have not seen it. It is not possible he has.

"It is also not true the report had been leaked out," he said, discounting the possibility of an inside job.

Speaking to reporters at a press conference after visiting the Seberang Jaya Hospital yesterday, he also said the Chinese community in Permatang Pauh was becoming increasingly supportive of Barisan Nasional in the by-election.

"We had house-to-house campaigns and ceramahs. We had explained to the people clearly about PKR?s tricks and other latest developments. We want them to make the right decision and not be fooled by Anwar, who is using this by-election as a platform to become Prime Minister.

"They need to choose the right representative and the person who can deliver well and help the people is from Barisan," he said.
