ALOR STAR: A religious schoolteacher was killed and her two children seriously injured when the car she was driving collided with a lorry at Titi Haji Idris.

Roslina Saad, 33, who was seven months pregnant, died at the scene in the mishap at 6.30pm on Tuesday.

Her two children - Siti Khotijah Samiyah Suparman, six, and Mohd Furqan Suparman, eight, - were injured while her husband Suparman Ponimin, 38, who was in the front passenger seat with their younger child, Aifa, four, suffered only minor injuries.

Siti Khotijah was admitted to the Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital while her father and Aifa received outpatient treatment there.
