The remand for blogger Syed Azidi Syed Aziz, who writes as "Sheih Kickdefella" was extended for another day today.

Syed Azidi, 38, was brought to the magistrate's court at about 3.45pm. Magistrate Fadzlin Suraya Mohd Shah granted the extension at about 4pm.

Also seen outside the courtroom was his wife Bariah Ishak and his sisters.

Syed Azidi, in a statement which he passed to his counsel Amril Pal Singh, said:

'I am well and hope to start blogging again by tomorrow,' he said.

Syed Azidi was detained under the Sedition Act 1948 for inciting the public to fly the Malaysian flag upside down.
