KUALA LUMPUR: Police have identified a suspect in the murder of a Chinese national on Saturday night.

City police chief Datuk Muhammad Sabtu Osman said an arrest would be made soon, but declined to elaborate.

He said, however, police had yet to ascertain the motive of the murder.

The five construction workers who were earlier detained by police were released on Sunday after having their statements recorded.

They were arrested several hours after the murder. The victim, Zou Xia Dong, 46, was found dead on the 17th floor of the I-Zen Tiffani Condominium, which is still under construction in Mont Kiara.

She was the managing director of the company involved in the construction.
