Wedding planner denies cheating

KUANTAN, MALAYSIA: A wedding planner pleaded not guilty in the magistrate's court here yesterday to cheating his clients of RM48,268.

He is facing 16 charges and the hearing has been fixed for March 21.

This is the second batch of charges brought against Azman Abu who ran a boutique here.

On Sept 26, he was charged with 11 counts of cheating his clients of RM19,732.

He pleaded guilty and was freed on bail of RM13,500. The hearing will be held on March 2.
