MALAYSIA - HARIAN Metro frontpaged a 17-year old schoolgirl in Sungai Petani, Kedah who was nearly tricked into having sex by a classmate turned pimp.

The classmate, an 18-year-old boy, would demand payment, handphone or valuables from clients for arranging the meetings with girls.

The victim, identified as Ella, said she was taken to a shopping mall after school to meet a man from Alor Star on the pretext of meeting a foster brother.

However, the man who suspected something was amiss, left Ella at his parent's house for four days.

Ella's parents lodged a missing person's police report on Friday.

The man sent Ella back to school on Monday although school in Kedah starts on Sunday.

Ella said the schoolboy has been known to set up his classmates to have sex with clients.

She alleged the boy would send an SMS to his prospective clients with the names, phone numbers and addresses of the girls looking for a foster brother or a lover.

Once there was a response, the boy would ask the girls to pretend to be interested in the man by replying to the SMSes.

He would ask for payment without the girls' knowledge.
