2 Chinese visitors run down

SEREMBAN, MALAYSIA: Two Chinese nationals on holiday were killed in an accident as they were crossing the road near Jusco shopping complex in Seremban 2 here on Tuesday night.

Lin Enei, 39, and Du Qio Qing, 32, died about 2am at Tuanku Jaafar Hospital.

A police spokesman said the victims died due to severe head and internal injuries.

"The accident is believed to have occurred as the victims were crossing the road at 10.50pm to return to their rented house when they were hit by a Honda Civic.

"The driver, in his 40s, was unable to stop his vehicle in time, crashing into the victims."
