KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA: The blogger who was caught up in the controversial Malaysian flag issue, Syed Azidi Syed Aziz or better known as Sheih Kickdefella, yesterday had his police bail extended for the third time.

The 38-year-old, who was arrested over a posting on his blog, had his bail extended by another month until Dec 21.

Syed Azidi said he had expected to know yesterday if he was going to be charged, but unfortunately his bail was extended again.

"I was told that the police have not made any conclusion in my case," he said.

"The internal investigation unit chief DSP Mahfuz Abdul Majid said that the officer investigating my case had been transferred to a different department and the arresting officer was away for exams."

Syed Azidi is being investigated for his Internet postings allegedly inciting the public to fly the Jalur Gemilang upside down.

He was arrested by police on Sept 17 in Kelantan and released on police bail on Sept 20.
