Woman saved in the nick of time

HULU TERENGGANU, Malaysia: Firemen grabbed a 38-year-old woman just as she jumped off a four-storey building under construction in Jalan Kuala Terengganu-Kuala Berang near Sekayu Junction yesterday.
The mother of one was spotted standing on the edge of the rooftop at 12.30pm.

A passer-by alerted police and the Fire and Rescue Department which sent a team there.

District police chief Deputy Superintendent Tengku Hamzah Tengku Abdullah said the rescuers managed to grab hold of her just as she stepped off the ledge.

He said the woman was previously a mental patient. He said she was sent to Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital for observation.
