KUALA TERENGGANU, MALAYSIA: Another suicide bid took place near here, barely 48 hours after a teenager threatened to jump off a nine-storey hotel.

This time, a housewife climbed a four-storey building in Kuala Berang town, about 43km from here yesterday.

The woman, 38, had allegedly threatened to kill herself after she accused her husband of taking a new wife.

Prompt action by rescue workers saved her.
