A small-time entrepreneur whose "hobby" was to bribe enforcement officers was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) officers, Kosmo! reported.

The pisang goreng seller, whose monthly income is said to be RM20,000(S$8400), bribed the officers every time they checked the permits of his foreign workers.

He was operating more than 10 stalls around Kuala Lumpur with each stall earning about RM500 a day and has been in the business since early this year.

His 15 Indonesian workers lived in his house. The ACA moved in after months of surveillance.

Sources said police and ACA officers raided his home late at night and found that his workers' passports were fake.

"The man treated the officers well, hoping that he would be let off with a bribe.

"He didn't even look afraid," the source said. The man was nabbed by ACA officers when he handed a stash of money to the police officers.
