Police station shocker for wife

SEREMBAN, MALAYSIA: A 52-year-old housewife was shocked when she went to the police station to report her missing husband and was told that he had drowned in a fish pond in Kampung Sendayan here yesterday morning.

Zainab Abdullah said her husband Mohamad Rohani Said, 66, had been missing since Tuesday morning and she and family members had searched for him.

"I decided to lodge a police report but I never imagined that he would be found dead."

Rohani's body was found floating in the pond by its owner at 9.30am.

Fire and Rescue Department personnel removed the victim's body.-NST
