PETALING JAYA, MALAYSIA - For Jacqueline Ong and her bridegroom Alex Teo, it was a wedding that they will cherish for a long time as their guests included Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor.

Besides the Prime Minister and his wife, other Cabinet ministers and dignitaries made up the 1,000-odd guests at MCA president Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat's eldest daughter's wedding reception at a hotel here.

They included former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and his wife Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali, Home Minister Datuk Seri Hisham-muddin Tun Hussein and Information, Communications and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim.

The MCA leaders who attended the grand function included vice-presidents Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai (Health Minister) and Tourism Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ng Yen Yen.

Also present at the ceremony were Gerakan president Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon and former MCA president Tan Sri Ong Ka Ting.

24-year-old Jacqueline is a pharmacist while Teo, also 24, is a lawyer.
