5 women nabbed

KUALA TERENGGANU: Five Thai women were nabbed about 4am on Saturday for violating their social visit passes.

Police had received a tip-off about the group of women, aged between 26 and 32, from Chouburi, Ubun Rachantani, Bangkok and Chengrai. They will be transferred to the Immigration Department.

The shop owner, 35, in whose premises they were caught, was released after he gave a statement to police.
