Harian Metro reported on a Form Two student who went amok and slashed his mother and younger brother with a parang in Felda Palong 4 near Gemas.

The attack caused one of the fingers of his 10 year-old brother to be severed.

The brother was also slashed on the head and is currently undergoing treatment in hospital for his injuries.

However, doctors managed to successfully re-attach his severed finger.

Meanwhile, the boy's 38-year-old mother received several cuts on her palm and her head while trying to block the attack. -The Star/Asia News Network
