KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA: A 37-year-old father of two claimed trial at the magistrate's court yesterday with possessing 106 pornographic video clips in his home computer.

Mohamad Izaham Mohamed Yatim, who was arrested on Wednesday, was charged with having the video clips in his hard disc at his house in Taman SPPK Segambut at 6pm on July 13.

Deputy public prosecutor Nor Aizam Aiza proposed bail at RM10,000 ($4,100) in one surety but Izaham's counsel, Ahmad Zahidi and Nor Azri Mohd Arif pleaded for a lower bail.

Azri said the accused could only afford a maximum of RM4,000 bail while Ahmad said Izham was self-employed and had a family to feed.

Magistrate Suhaily Samsudin set bail at RM4,300 in one surety and fixed Nov 20 for mention.
