Death for ganja trafficking

ALOR STAR, MALAYSIA: A pirated VCD seller was sentenced to death by the High Court yesterday for trafficking in cannabis four years ago.

Ng Kam Wei, 31, was found guilty of trafficking in 8,529.5g of ganja in Taman Selasih, Kulim, at 11.45pm on Dec 22, 2005.

The drugs were found in a box on the back seat of a Proton Wira, driven by Ng.

A total of 10 slabs of compressed ganja leaves were found in the box which was unsealed.
