MALAYSIA - A 17-YEAR-old student died of massive blood loss when his thigh was sliced by a broken glass door at his house in Taman Ara, Batu Berendam, Malacca on Friday, reported Harian Metro.

The incident happened at about 11am when the boy who had just returned home after sitting for one of his SPM examination subjects found the sliding glass door of his house locked.

According to the state CID chief, Asst Comm Mohd Adnan Abdullahthe boy had apparently kicked the glass door causing it to break and slicing his thigh.

He was immediately sent to Malacca Hospital for treatment, but died about four hours later due to massive blood loss.
