Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan, who has accused Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim of sodomy and is the key witness in the ongoing trial, has filed a police report about receiving a death threat on Facebook.

In his report lodged at the Sentul police headquarters, Mohd Saiful, 24, said he received an e-mail on Monday asking him to check the Facebook Fanpage of Anwar.

When Saiful went into the site, he saw a message left by a person called Anaz Zahari. The message called on anyone who met Mohd Saiful to kill him.

In his police report, Mohd Saiful said he feared for the safety of his family and himself.

Sentul OCPD Asst Comm Zakaria Pagan confirmed receiving the police report.

The matter was being investigating under Section 506 of the Penal Code for criminal intimidation.
