Mon, Mar 08, 2010
The Star/Asia News Network

THE Selangor Religious Department (Jais) raided an entertainment outlet where patrons were found to be intoxicated and involved in sexual acts, Metro Ahad reported.

And to evade arrest, some of the women tried to seduce the Jais officers, it quoted a source as saying.

During the raid on the outlet, said to be owned by a well-known local artiste, the patrons ran helter-skelter but the Jais officers managed to arrest 20 Muslim couples for various violations.

The newspaper also quoted sources as saying that the artiste was not present during the raid.
