Police vehicle rammed into me, claims politician

SHAH ALAM, Malaysia- Mohamad Sabu has claimed that police rammed into his motorcycle and he was thrown off during Saturday's Bersih 2.0 rally.

The PAS deputy president said he was on his way to Masjid Negara riding pillion when a Land Rover knocked the motorcycle, causing him to fall to the ground.

"I didn't know it was a police Land Rover at the time," he told reporters at the Selangor state assembly lobby.

"The impact threw me off and I rolled on the ground. They (the police) then brought me into the Land Rover and took me to a clinic in Jinjang, which referred me to a hospital," he added.
