A 28-year-old man was jailed four months on Friday for secretly filming the undergarments of women with his digital camera.

Eugene Goh Chong Lim pleaded guilty to three counts of intruding into the privacy of women - once at Cold Storage supermarket at the basement 2 of Takashimaya Shopping Centre on Feb 16 and another two occasions along Orchard Road between August last year and February.

Thirteen other similar charges were taken into consideration.

The court heard that an in-house detective saw him behaving suspiciously at the supermarket's coffee powder section that evening and decided to trail him.

He later spotted Goh standing close to an 18-year-old girl and placing a plastic bag directly next to her. The detective felt suspicious and detained him.

Inside the plastic bag was Goh's Samsung camera with some upskirt footages of unknown women, including the victim.
