AN eight-year-old girl was found dead at the foot of Block 645 in Jurong West Street 61 at about 7.40 am on Friday.

She was wearing jeans and a pink blouse. Paramedics pronounced her dead at 7.50 am. The girl, found lying face up, had multiple fractures.

The girl is believed to be staying with her maternal grandmother as her parents are divorced.

Neighbours said her grandmother goes to work and the girl was often seen playing outdoor and wandering around the vicinity.

Police ruled out foul play and have classified the case as unnatural death.
