S'pore towkay loves & loses $24,000 to China women

Leon, a 50-year-old businessman, told The New Paper he was duped twice by the China women he fell in love with.

The bespectacled man, who runs a string of businesses in food and beverage, and entertainment, also told The New Paper that all this happened within a span of just 16 months, and he lost more than $24,000 in cash as well as expenses.

His first China lover Mei, 27, was a construction site worker, whom he met in June last year.

Leon says he got to know her through an old friend who said she needed help.
He offered her money with no strings attached.

Three months after he started helping Mei out, she told him she felt bad that he was taking care of her without getting anything in return. That day, they checked into a hotel and had sex.

This love affair lasted five months and cost Leon $11,000 in cash.

It ended with Mei telling Leon that she only wanted money, and he has since lost contact with her.

Then in July this year, Leon met his second China lover, Ling, 37, a study mama.

Ling, who has an 11-year-old son, had sex with Leon on the third date. He then claimed that she asked to be his lover, at the cost of $1,000 a month for five nights a week of her company.

This love affair lasted three months and cost Leon $2,000 in cash.

It ended with her picking a fight with him, after realising there was no "big money". She vanished on 5 Oct.

Leon told The New Paper, he has learnt his lesson but that will not stop him from looking for another China woman.
