The Straits Times

A 48-YEAR-OLD woman was charged on Monday with causing hurt to a boy by a rash act.

Kwong Wai Leng, a spa therapist, allegedly threw a small ceramic cup from a seventh-floor flat at Jalan Tenteram at about 12.45am on Sunday which hit the inner right side of the 13-year-old's knee, causing it to bleed.

When the court remanded her for psychiatric assessment Kwong said: 'Sure, I'm used to all this. We'll talk then, bet on this.''

She will be back in court on Dec 17.
