Mon, Dec 03, 2007
The Straits Times

A MAN who left valuables in his car found himself a theft victim when he returned three hours later.

The man, in his 20s, had parked his car at the basement carpark of a commercial building along Bencoolen Street on Saturday afternoon.

When he returned, the rear right window of the car was smashed.

Two bags - one placed on the backseat and the other on the floor mat - were gone.

Missing items include cash vouchers worth about $1,400, six watches valued at about $150 and a $800 mobile phone.
