Cheaper champagne at clubs this X'mas

CLUBBERS in Singapore these days are saying cheers with champagne.

The drink is normally associated with the ritzy crowd but two factors have helped lower the cost of the bubbly.

Clubs like St James Power Station say they have tie-ups with champagne suppliers which allow them to charge competitive rates.

Also, suppliers these days are more aggressive in holding their own promotions and doing event tie-ins to enlarge their market share.
