Body of woman found at Upper Seletar reservoir

THE body of a Chinese woman was found at Upper Seletar Reservoir in Mandai Road on Wednesday morning.

Police received a call at 9 am, and paramedics from the Singapore Civil Defence Force pronounced her dead at 9.30am.

Ms Tan Ka Booy, in her mid-40s, was clad in shorts, dark-coloured top and black slippers.

Her family members, who identified her body at the site on Wednesday, declined to speak to the media.

The police have classified the case as unnatural death.
