CELEBRITY Fann Wong's face graces bus-stop advertisements for the New Moon brand of abalone, but it appears petty thieves are more captivated by the crescent moon wind vanes perched atop the ad poster.

The New Moon abalone advertisements went up two weeks ago. Within days, the movable crescent moon logos started going missing.

Mr Philip Goh, the senior regional marketing manager at Goh Joo Hin, which markets the brand, said the company had noticed about half a dozen missing in the first two days.

He is unsure how many more have been flicked, but the company has sent a contractor out to replace the missing wind vanes.

Mr Goh said: 'We are very amused that the public is taking our New Moon logo. We would like to inform those who are interested in it to contact us at food@gjh.com.sg.'
