A motorcyclist died shortly after he was seriously injured in a collision with a car at the junction of Yishun St 72 and Yishun Ring Road on Wednesday at about 6.45am.
Mr Ng Yao Ming, 19, sustained serious head injuries and was rushed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital unconscious. He died at about 8.20am.
The pillion rider, a Chinese woman in her late teens, sustained injuries and abrasions on her limbs and was warded at TTSH.
The car driver is an Indian man, in his 40s.
