Student dies 3 days after she was hit by taxi

A 14-YEAR-OLD student who was knocked down by a lorry along Ang Mo Kio Ave 6 last Thursday died in hospital at 5.30pm on Sunday.

On Feb 14, Priyanka Kunaseran was crossing the road near the Ang Mo Kio Community Library at 3.30pm when she was hit by a taxi travelling towards Marymount Road.

The Bishan Park Secondary student suffered head injuries and taken unconscious to Kandang Kerbau Hospital.

The 57-year-old taxi driver is assisting the police with investigations.
