S'pore ministers congratulate M'sian counterparts on polls victory

>DEPUTY Prime Minister, Coordinating Minister for National Security and Law Minister Professor S Jayakumar, as well as Deputy Prime Minister and Home Affairs Minister Wong Kan Seng, have sent their congratulations to Malaysia's Deputy Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak on Barisan Nasional's election victory over the weekend.

A Foreign Affairs Ministry statement says Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo has also written to congratulate his Malaysian counterpart Syed Hamid Albar on Mr Syed Hamid's re-election.

Malaysia's ruling coalition, the Barisan Nasional, returned to power, albeit with a much narrower majority, following Saturday's election.
