A MAN whose dog allegedly bit a 69-year-old hotel worker on the left thigh was charged in a magistrate's court on Thursday.

Gary Yeo Eng Cher, 43, is said to have committed the offence at Fullerton Square outside Fullerton Hotel, where his dog caused injury to Mr Liew Eng San, 69, a gardener, on June 26 last year.

The case was adjourned to March 27.

If convicted, he faces a fine of up to $5,000. He will also have to compensate the injured.
