Mah Bow Tan to address housing conference in Hong Kong

MINISTER for National Development Mah Bow Tan will be in Hong Kong for a three-day visit from Wednesday.

During his visit, he will deliver a keynote address at the International Housing Conference organised by the Hong Kong Housing Society (HKHS) to celebrate its 60th anniversary.

Mr Mah will speak on Singapore's experience in public housing and how it seeks to cater to the life cycle needs of Singaporeans in public housing.

He will also meet Ms Eva Cheng, the Hong Kong Secretary for Transport and Housing, and visit the Hong Kong Housing Authority, Hong Kong Planning Department, public housing for the elderly as well as nature reserves in the Special Administrative Region.

The minister will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of National Development, Housing & Development Board, National Parks Board and Urban Redevelopment Authority.
